I participated in the last two Deconstructions facilitating the North Springs Laser Sharks team. I’ve since left public education but continue to teach adults and am developing a body of work as an artist. I figured that I’ve given a lot of directions over the years and perhaps its time to take some. I’ve reached out to many former and current students and interesting minds in order to answer the question: how do we deconstruct distance? I’ll take all of their input and ideas and synthesize them into a single ceramic artwork over the three day build. I’m excited about this change of direction and the chance to participate with my creative talents.
